Jimin ultimate tattoo guide. The BTS member tattoos and all their meanings. Jimin and Jungkook are the only two with tattoos.
Among the members of BTS, Jimin and Jungkook are the only two with tattoos. Below are pictures of their tattoos.
Tattoo meanings of BTS’ Jimin and Jungkook
Among their fans, BTS’s Jimin and Jungkook are quite the heartthrobs. Aside from their high-pitched voices, the two singers are known for their fashion sense. They are one of the most talented singers in K-pop because of their wide voice range and powerful vocal control. RM, V, Suga, J-Hope, Jin are also becoming a hit in the western world, along with their bandmates.
In addition to releasing record-breaking singles, other aspects of the boyband’s lives are also making headlines. The bandmates have tattoos in addition to coloring their hair, wearing jewelry, and getting piercings. In contrast with Jimin and Jungkook, the rest of the members do not have tattoos.
Jimin has a number of tattoos throughout his body. One of the tattoos on BTS’s youngest member includes the word ‘ARMY’ across his knuckles. ‘ARMY’ is also spelled with a ‘J’ over the ‘M’. As the ‘A’ in ‘ARMY’ is upside-down, it looks like a ‘V’. All the initial letters of the group’s members add up. The ‘V’ stands for V, the ‘RM’ for RM, the ‘Y’ for Yoongi (Suga), and the ‘J’ for Jin, J-Hope, and Jimin.
Furthermore, Jungkook has plus signs between the letters and a heart on the same sand. The thumbprint of his hand is ‘0613,’ meaning June 13, the day BTS debuted. The thumbprint also includes a face emoji.
A skeleton-hand tattoo is on the 23-year-old singer’s right arm, along with the words, ‘RATHER BE DEAD THAN COOL’. Another tattoo on his arm has been difficult to decipher. According to the latest report, he got a tattoo of an eye on his arm. In Chinese characters, he also has the phrase ‘the most beautiful moment in life’ tattooed on his body.
His fans have spotted a few tattoos on Jimin from time to time. The word ‘NEVERMIND’ is tattooed on his right side. BTS fans believe the 13 on his wrist is a nod to when BTS debuted on June 13, 2013. October 13 is also his birthday. On his elbows, Jimin also has ‘YOUNG’ and ‘FOREVER’ written.
Jimin’s Tattoo Collection
As far as fans know, Jimin and Jungkook are the only members of BTS with tattoos. Jungkook has many tattoos on his arms and fingers, including “ARMY” written on his knuckles and three large black stripes inked on his right arm. On the other hand, Jimin’s designs are more difficult to spot because they’re hidden away – especially since he has so few of them. Jimin has so far revealed four tattoos.
Jimin’s “13” tattoo
In just hours before Map of the Soul: 7 drops on Feb. 21, 2020, fans first spotted Jimin’s “13” tattoo during BTS’ VLIVE comeback special.
Jimin briefly lifted up his arms during the livestream to show off his “13” tattoo. In 2020, the fans will see it again during BTS’ M Countdown performance on Feb. 27 as well as Jimin’s VLIVE on March 30.
BTS debuted on June 13, 2013, Jimin’s birthday is on Oct. 13, so 13 could represent all three.
Jimin’s “Nevermind” Tattoo
BTS fans once considered Jimin’s “Nevermind” tattoo to be one of the biggest mysteries. BTS members Jimin and Block B introduced Jimin’s tattoo at the MAMAs stage in December 2014, and fans immediately knew that it was a fake. After the performance, Jimin’s tattoo vanished from his torso.
During BTS’ MGA performance in November 2018, fans once again noticed the tattoo. Although fans debated whether the tattoo was real (with many insisting it must be fake and for another concept), over time they came to accept that it was real because of its longevity. Jimin would do the same every time he lifted up his shirt during BTS’ 2019 Love Yourself tour.
Jimins Elbow Tattoos ” Young Forever “
Fans noticed what looked like two bandages on Jimin’s elbows at the end of BTS’ M Countdown performance on Feb. 27, 2020. Jimin’s fans first thought he had new tattoos on both arms. However, during BTS’ livestream on May 11, their suspicions were confirmed.
Fans caught a glimpse of Jimin’s left elbow tat above his blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment. The object is small and hard to make out, so ARMYs hope to get a better look at it in the future.
During BTS’ M Countdown performance, Jimin had a bandage on every elbow, so they suspected he had another tat on his right elbow that matched the one on his left.
Jimin’s arm tattoos of the phrase “Young Forever” were revealed in a VLIVE video with Jungkook on Sunday, June 21, 2020. It is a reference to one of his favorite BTS songs of the same name. In addition to their uniqueness, the tattoos appear to be in the same font as his “Nevermind” tattoo.
BTS Jimin’s New Tattoo And It Has A Hidden Meaning
In addition to the new tattoo (or two), BTS surprised fans with a 3-day concert, PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – SEOUL.
Fans noticed Jimin’s body art on Day 1 of the concert (March 10). It was a crescent moon on the back of his neck.
Behind his ear, there was a difficult-to-decipher word. It was then believed by some ARMY sleuths that the mysterious word was “Love.”
It has finally been revealed! In addition to saying “youth,” Jimin now has a tattoo that will also be the title of a K-drama based on BTS. In “youth,” Jimin also references the coming of age themes in BTS’s work – but that’s not all there is to it!
Upon closer examination, Jimin’s tattoo appears to be a perceptual shift ambigram, which is text that can be read in two ways. There are two words in the tattoo: “youth” and is “growth”
Both words reflect Jimin’s development as an artist and as a person over the past nine years.
Do you think Jimin’s latest tattoo is real? We’ll have to wait and see!
Everyone has personal reasons for getting — or not getting — tattoos. In an interview with Grazia, Suga explained why he’s currently on the fence about getting inked. “I might want to do something else in the future,” he said, according to a translated version of the interview. “I want to do charity work. It might not look good, so I’m refraining myself.”
Apparently, the 24-year-old singer has got more than ten tattoos on his body.

- On his thumb, he has ‘0613’ which means June 13, the day BTS debuted
