As the show’s anarchic adventures span time and space, it’s no surprise its tattoo fan base echoes the same sentiment.

Rick and Morty Tattoos
In the past decade, Rick and Morty has become a cult favorite. We can’t wait for Rick And Morty season four to see what death-defying adventures Rick, Morty, Jerry, Summer, and Beth are up to next.
The Rick and Morty series has been such a big part of people’s lives that many have chosen Rick and Morty tattoos of all sizes, shapes, and designs to adorn themselves. There are a lot of Rick and Morty tattoo ideas out there, and we have selected our favorite, including Rick and Morty Pickle Rick Tattoos, Morty Tattoos, and realistic Rick and Morty portrait tattoos.
Rick and Morty Tattoo Ideas
Rick and Morty, both throwbacks and on-trend, are constantly mimicking the Back To The Future series. More psychedelic schemes illustrate the mad scientists’ penchant for substances and bizarre pursuits.
You may be somewhat of a mad scientist yourself, trying to make sense of an equally crazy world. Morty tries his best to hold it together, but Rick and Morty’s tattoos are a breed of unique that makes the show into cult classics overnight.

Rick and Morty Tattoo
A sci-fi animated sitcom on Cartoon Network, Rick and Morty. On December 2, 2013, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland debuted Rick and Morty, the brainchild of Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland. Fans of this cartoon have become so enamored with it that they have got the characters tattooed permanently on their bodies.
Some people are going to be confused when they see this tattoo, which has a scientist with green drool coming from his mouth and a young boy tattooed on it. Getting a Rick and Morty tattoo is an obvious sign of fandom and a testament to the show’s hilarious and bizarre nature.
Traditional Rick and Morty Tattoos
By far my favorite form of these tattoos are the hybrid images importing the Rick and Mortyverse into the Sailor Jerry style.
From a stylistic perspective, the concept and application go together like hamburgers and fries. Typical characteristics of American Traditional art are bold outlines, a limited palette of colors, and two-dimensional images. In other words, Rick and Morty.
Choosing the perfect tattoo from so many types of creative and unique artwork can be challenging. We have found that timeless, classic ideas are the best tattoos for men.
Men have the option of getting tattoos on any part of their body, including their arm, chest, shoulder, back, leg, wrist, or hand.
Cartoon Rick and Morty Tattoos
As a tattooing technique, cartoon application is a well-established style that has become an entire, entertaining genre in its own right. In this instance, I’d like to describe realism in an unusual way, using cartoons.
If you want a realistic, accurate representation of your favorite cartoon character, how else are you going to do it? The artwork can always be concealed when you want, whether it is on your arm, hand, wrist, or chest. A small tattoo is a good first tattoo for men and is easy to do.
Black and Gray Rick and Morty Tattoos
In terms of art style, Rick and Morty isn’t particularly complex. If you use fine line black and gray ink, you can really capture the true essence of a character or scene. A simple fine line application in black and gray will give you a piece that looks like a stencil from an old TV show.
It’s a great way to include your favorite alcoholic scientist and his nephew if you already have a black and gray aesthetic.
Psychedelic Rick and Morty Tattoos
The swirling, colorful imagery of Rick’s portal gun can be combined with a highly saturated version of the iconic science fiction green for psychedelic Rick and Morty tattoos. Hypercolor really brings Rick and Morty to life. The color scheme is fully embraced by some, with high saturation pinks, purples, yellows, blues, and oranges.
Simple Rick and Morty Tattoo
In the past few years, small and simple tattoos have gained enormous popularity. There are many simple tattoos that pack a ton of meaning into a small area that are great if you’re getting your first tattoo. As a matter of fact, small tattoos can actually be much more tasteful, especially if you are a professional at work.
New School Rick and Morty Tattoos
The cartoon’s bold outlines, bright colors, and highly stylized images may make you think Rick and Morty comes in a New School package.
Neo-traditionalism was an evolution of American traditionalism that began in the 1970s.
Neo traditional fits really well from both a concept and an application standpoint since it is almost the quintessential Rick and Morty look.

Rick and Morty Tattoo Stencil
Tattoo stencils are used to transfer tattoo designs accurately from paper to skin. It is not difficult to make a tattoo stencil at home, but it will take practice to refine your accuracy. If you want to test out tattoo designs before you hire a tattoo artist, creating your own stencil is a good move.

The Story Behind Rick and Morty
Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland created Rick and Morty. Roiland began submitting content to Channel 101, a short film festival in Los Angeles, in 2004 (a year after the festival debuted). The style of Roiland’s performance was crude and strange, often leaving audiences confused. Roiland became a fan of Harmon, one of the co-founders of Channel 101.
A few years later, Harmon wrote and produced NBC’s primetime show Community, while Roiland was doing voice work for Disney and Cartoon Network. Adult Swim was looking for a primetime show and approached Harmon while Harmon was fired from Community. The first time Harmon heard about the network, he wasn’t interested, but he nonetheless contacted Roiland to see what he had up his sleeves, and that’s where Roiland pitched Rick and Morty.
The original plan of Roiland was to do an 11-minute show, but Adult Swim insisted on a 30-minute slot. Harmon’s experience in character development and dialogue came in handy. In order to elongate the show, Harmon decided to make Rick and Morty a family.
